UPVC DOOR SPRAYING

To find out more, or to arrange a free quote, please get in touch.

Changing the colour of your uPVC door is not the obstacle that you think it might be. You don’t need to purchase a new door and it can be as easy as it was to paint an old wooden door, in fact its easier. Spraying doors is a great option to achieve the exact colour you want and a finish that looks like new.

Unlike painting, there are no brush marks, no bubbles and the grain in the finish doesn’t get lost in layers of paint. You can achieve a whole new look and make a statement with uPVC door spraying in one of hundreds of colours. We can even match your new door colour to existing window frames or garage doors.

It doesn’t matter if your door is uPVC, aluminium or composite, we can achieve a hard-wearing finish that looks like new with a door respray in just a day. It’s also much cheaper than replacing a front door and can add value to your property. Spraying doors can be better for the environment too with less waste.

Our paint is durable and weather-resistant. You can see from our gallery that we are experienced uPVC door sprayers. We have a range of customer testimonials that demonstrate our approach, so take a look and see why we are a company that you can trust and why we are proud to be the best in uPVC sprayers in Yorkshire according to recent awards.

“We have just had our garage door and front door sprayed and we are so pleased with the results. The service is excellent, everything went according to plan, and we were kept informed at every stage. I can’t fault anything and would highly recommend this company - five star”

HOW WE WORK

HOW WE WORK

We will clear the area and fully clean the door that we’re spraying. This is a two-part process. We utilise the cleaning products manufactured specially by the paint supplier, to clean off any contaminants on the surface, to ensure a perfect bond is created for the paint.

Once your door is cleaned and de-greased, we rub it down where needed with a very mild abrasive to ensure that the new coating bonds perfectly. This process is simple yet essential for a perfect finish.

Everything is then covered and masked and surfaces not to be sprayed are taped and protected with sheeting. All the glass is taped up and protected with plastic sheets. Any adjacent surfaces are fully masked off, protecting from over-spray.

We fully ventilate the area with our extraction units where needed, whilst podding and sealing off any internal areas necessary.

The paint is mixed with a curing agent for durability and dries in just a few minutes. We advise that you leave your door open/ajar for the first few hours after the spraying process to allow them to fully harden and cure. Our paint is touch dry within seconds, but we do advise that you are extra careful around the door for the first 10-14 days after application to allow the layers to fully cure. We will apply as many coats as necessary to ensure the desired finish.

We pride ourselves on our after-care service and we will follow up with you to ensure everything is to your satisfaction with your door spraying.

WIDE CHOICE OF COLOURS

You can pick from hundreds of colours for your door respray. The most popular colours at the moment include RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, Jet Black and Hague Blue from the Farrow and Ball colour range, but we’ve included some of our most popular here for you to see

We can match to over 300 British Standard colours, click here to take look. We also cover any colour on the RAL Colour Chart, Farrow and Ball Colour Chart and Little Greene Company Colour Chart. Please note, where the ever popular  Farrow and Ball and Little Greene colours are used, we do not use these branded paints, we use a colour matching service as they are not fit for purpose to use directly being a domestic, often water or oil based paint. Just click on the links to take a look.

You may also want to take a look at some of our previous work in our gallery, as they may inspire your colour choice.

We can provide a colour match for you, so if you have a particular colour you want to match to, perhaps the colour of existing windows, or your garage, then we can go through that process with you. We can also spray garage doors, please take a look for more information.

We strongly advise that you physically look at paint samples and colour charts in situ at your home to ensure you select the right colour. Electronic devices and lighting can vary in terms of their representation. Colour-matching is used on all colours except RAL and allows for a 5-15% tolerance.

We cannot be held responsible for any change of mind once the job is completed, so take the time to make the right choice. The finish we use is a low satin sheen as standard.
