uPVC CONSERVATORY SPRAYING

To find out more, or to arrange a free quote, please get in touch.

A conservatory is often a place of relaxation and if your conservatory has seen better days then it may not feel as relaxing as it once did. We can help. We can give your conservatory a facelift by respraying. Spraying your conservatory can not only make it look like new again but it can also cost a lot less money than replacing it. We can spray both the interior and exterior of conservatories.

Our durable paint is moisture-resistant and provides a superb finish on all surfaces, interior or exterior, with no peeling, cracking, or flaking. You can see the finish we can achieve in our gallery.

You can also choose from hundreds of colours for your conservatory spraying. It may be that your original white has now faded and started to look a little yellow or a dark grained effect may not be your choice anymore. We can spray most types of conservatories, uPVC, and many types of metal conservatories. You may wish to keep the same colour and just provide a refreshed finish, or you may wish to upgrade your conservatory by modernising the colour. It’s your choice.

The only thing we always check before we agree to quote is the type of roof and the access. Sometimes with conservatories the apex or the panels can make it difficult to access and because we hold our service in such high regard, if we don’t think we can access the areas, we won’t agree to the project. The Health and Safety of our trained staff must be our highest priority. The best thing to do is to send us a photo through our website, then we can assess and provide a quote.

As experienced uPVC conservatory spray painters, we have many five-star reviews that you can read to put your mind at rest. Make sure you take a look at both our reviews and our gallery.

HOW WE WORK

HOW WE WORK

We will clear the area and fully clean the conservatory that we’re spraying, however, we do ask you to remove surface dirt please and any surrounding garden accessories so we can easily access the site. Preparation is a two-part process. We utilise the cleaning products manufactured specially by the paint supplier, to clean off any contaminants on the surface, and to ensure a perfect bond is created for the paint.

Once the conservatory is all cleaned and de-greased, we rub it down where needed with a very mild abrasive to ensure that the new coating bonds perfectly. This process is simple yet essential for a perfect finish.

Once all areas are fully cleaned and bonding preparation is taken care of, we start the masking process. Everything is covered and masked and surfaces not to be sprayed are taped and protected with sheeting. All the glass is taped up and protected with plastic sheets. Any adjacent surfaces are fully masked off, protecting from over-spray.

We fully ventilate the area with our extraction units where needed, whilst podding and sealing off any areas as necessary.

The paint is mixed with a curing agent for durability and dries in just a few minutes, however we always recommend that your take extra care around your newly spray-painted conservatory for the 10-14 days following the spraying, just to allow the layers of paint to fully harden and cure. We will apply as many coats as necessary to ensure the desired finish.

You may think that because it is a conservatory, you are limited on colours, but nothing could be further from the truth.

We can match to over 300 British Standard colours, click here to take look. We also cover any colour on the RAL Colour Chart, Farrow and Ball Colour Chart and Little Greene Company Colour Chart.

Please note, where the ever-popular Farrow and Ball and Little Greene colours are used, we

do not use these branded paints, we use a colour matching service as they are not fit for purpose to

be used directly through our professional equipment, with the paint being a domestic, often water

paint. Just click on the links to take a look.

If you have existing windows or doors that you want to match, we can do that. You may also have seen a particular colour that you like, and we will do our very best to get as near as possible to this match for you.

We strongly advise that you physically look at paint’s samples and colour charts in situ at your home to ensure you select the right colour. Electronic devices and lighting can vary in terms of their representation. Colour-matching is used on all colours except RAL and allows for a 5-15% tolerance.

We cannot be held responsible for any change of mind once the job is completed, so take the time to make the right choice. The finish we use is a low satin sheen as standard.
